In a basic single operator franchise, the franchise holder is also the chief salesperson. The franchised portal (or three portals, for the single operator multi-unit franchise option) is fully equipped with everything you need, and is operational from the moment you take over. Your goal as franchise holder is to sell advertising on your website, for which you receive substantial commissions. Sales are made easy by the IREA-AII premise: simply tell your clients that when they advertise on your website their listings will automatically be published on all 600 – for the same price, and for one year.

As management franchise holder, you will own the rights to between seven and 36 portals, depending on the category of franchise you choose. Your role is more of a management position, coordinating a team of salespeople who do the majority of your selling. Initial investment is higher, but so are your commissions and potential returns.

Investment franchises are aimed at those who wish to see a high rate of return on a capital investment, rather than become heavily involved in the day-to-day running of a business. IREA-AII investment franchises are made up of 50 portals, and with the capital invested in advertising by the franchise holder, and the infrastructure and marketing set in place by the IREA-AII, the franchise essentially runs itself.
